Am I correct in reading 10.5?

I was predicting a total at around 8.. maybe 8.5

Any thoughts?

I guess the ump has influenced the line more than usual. The high likelihood of rain means that the starters might only see a few innings--if the game's played at all--and that sure points to an over, too. Rain, slippery ball, poor pitchers' grip, more errors . . . you know the stuff.

Woody and Lieber have not been shutting teams down, Sammy's "due" and Big Mac is probably going to start. Good game to pass.

Most likely moot issue if the weather shuts this one down.

The wind is the major factor in the Wrigley totals. WHen the win is blowing out, you'll see #'s from 10 to 13. When its blowing in, you'll see 7 to 8.5. You almost never see 9 or 9.5 at Wrigley. Williams is a flyball-pitcher so the Cubs should have no excuse today.

here's your probable colprit teddy:

Forecast
Today: Mostly cloudy with thunderstorms likely. High near 78F. Winds S 10 to 15 mph. Chance of precipitation 100%. Rainfall amounts generally a half an inch. Higher amounts possible in some storms.

that wind is out to center and reliford is considered an over ump. i was looking at the over myself but will probably pass at this number.
