what is your argument for Louisville?

I do not like Calipari but if you are backing Ville today, why?

When these teams met earlier this season, Kentucky shot only 29%, made 1 shot from 3pt range, and Russ Smith needed to explode for 30 points all for Louisville to STILL lose by 7....

Yes I am sure both teams are better but if Ville held Kentucky to 29% and they needed one of their players to have a career game and STILL lost by 7....what can they even do to win?

really? nobody? all these people on Louisville and nobody has an opinion?

I won't play this game but would like to hear both sides at least...if you are playing Ville, why? surely you have to have some logic to come to your conclusion?

I like Louisville's toughness. They've peaked at the right time of the year, Dieng is playing his best ball right now, and I think they have enough contributors to keep the game close.

Better tournament coach, hot team, and +9 points. That's enough for me. You can throw out regular season at this point. Look at UCONN last year if you need any proof.

Personally don't think the Cards have enough size to stop Kentucky.I expect Dieng to get in foul trouble early and that will change the game. However if Dieng doesn't get in foul trouble it could be a closer game if they keep Kentucky from running out for easy scores.I like Benton's 100 dimers and he is on the Cards so for me probably rolling small on them, since I liked Kentucky originally.

Calipari isn't a good tournament coach?

Everytime Cal has been to the Final Four he has had the best player in the country: Camby, Rose and Davis. I really like Cal. Pitino and Cal are the sons of Howard Garfunkal (Five Star). So similar but Pitino has been doing this longer and has done so with the best of talent and with marginal talent. He was gone to final fours with inferior teams. Cal has not. Cal is really good but again I give the nod to Rick for game prep. For that reason and a week to prep for his little brother I'll take 9 points

I'm on KY myself, but if I had to have an argument for LOU it would be their NASTY pressure defense!! Also, throw in they are 22-13 ATS overall vs KY's 15-21 mark.

I feel Calipari/KY will come up with a good enough game plan to overcome that defense and win by DD's. UNDER looks very tempting.......

go back more than six year guy. Its not like Rick has had the same talent. Look at careers. You think Rick forgot something. Look at this years team. They have no where near the talent UK has but have gotten here. They've also beaten better teams to get here and they're rivals. I'm not saying they'll win but 9 points, thats a ton bro

Calipari is GOING to get his championship trophy THIS YEAR!! HANDS DOWN!!! This guy has been there done that and just hasn't gotten over the hump. This KY team could beat some NBA teams...seriously!! This is the best all around team he's ever coached! Ohio St who I think should beat Kansas is too much of a one man show with Sullinger. If he gets into foul trouble it's over for them. Just my 2 cents.....but, who knows...LOU could beat'em. I just don't think that'll happen.

They could not come within 30 points of any NBA team...

36-13 (.735)

who's the vastly superior coach?

and fwiw....not touting one side or the other but to say pitino is vastly superior tournament coach is vastly underestimating calapari

theyve each taken multuiple schools to a final 4....pitino actually won with kentucky...cal hasnt....yet

Why do you think oddmakers set the line so high? Honest ?....what's your opinion. It looks high to me...a bit too much to make LOU seem like the obvious side.
