Phyllis McGuire was famously a girlfriend of mobster Sam Giancana. In 1963 she was with him at that Casino in Reno that Sinatra was part owner of when a big fight broke out on the floor and gaming commission investigated. Sinatra called the commissioners names at the hearing and they forced him to sell out his ownership stake.
Phyllis still lives in Las Vegas and is very active in the social scene of charity balls, fundraisers, club openings and such. You almost never can get her to tell stories of her past associations
