What temp do you set your A/C on during the summer

Yes, because she will turn the temp down (or put it on in the early summer months) and then shortly after going to bed will complain about it being too cool, and guess who gets up to change it. :facepalm:

Hoping summer falls on a weekend this year around here. Then I can turn the AC on for a day or 2 at 72.

old style ac downstairs temp is at 7 to cool down huse fast high cool speed with floor fan between rooms then once temp is lowered by 7 degrees i drop it to low cooll speed and house stays cool all day long unit shuts off compressor after it reaches that temp ! Saves me $100's for 4 months !

69 at night. I'd have it lower but the wife complains.

78 when we not in. When I get home from work I lower to around 73-75

I go 75 during the day and 70 at night.

I used to go 68 all day long, but I am getting older and cranky about my bills now.

In fact I yelled at the wife the other day when she lowered it before I wanted too. LOL.

yeagh an attic fan alone will drop house temperature 3 degrees or more

unfortunately we aint got no attics in the concrete jungle but i could install a roof fan enclosed in A frame housing.

But also having roof coating white or silver reflects heat.

BUT mmy floor fan between rooms cools down the large downstairs fine and AC above door i lower at low cool temp knob is on 6 at night
