Manning has already thrown 2 picks and fumbled once???????

Are you kidding me????

Do they know that they are playing the worst team in the NFL?????

That is pathetic.

What's wrong with the Colts??

They're an ordinary team at best, but the 'public' seem to be in love with them so their lines stink.

How's that for a start? ;)

Colts are a decent team in a very bad division. The AFC South is a complete joke. They'll be lucky to make it out of the first round of the playoffs.

kneifl,

You could be right about that, but there is no way that they should be in a tie game at the half with this Houston team.

No way.

They've played (and beaten) 4 CRAP teams, and somehow lucked a win against a team that lost it's starting QB before HT.

No...I didn't take Houston today...but I sure as hell didn't take Indi -14.5 either.

Agree with kneifl 100%...won't make the AFC Champ game.

(All jokes aside, you've gotta love a team that has run the ball 26 times and thrown it 5 at HT!!!!)

Plain City OH
OR it could the mentality of the Colts today and who is on the horizon. Houston today, BYE next week and the SUPER BOWL defending champ Patriots, following the BYE. AT NE none the less.

Laying 2 TD's and a FG (scoring frequency factored) is not a way to make $$$ in this league especially on the road in this situation.

DID I bet this game? HE%% not with your money let alone mine. I know I have the benefit of hindsight someone will say. Others will be torqued off I came into this thread with this. The teacher does not have to be me, it can obviously be a smaller bankroll.

Hope you win your bet and best of luck the rest of the season but look before you leap. THIS stuff is tough if you make it that way.

The Colts may think they can win this one at 1/3 throttle and 1/3 throttle on a six bottom plow tractor will not pull a three bottom plow.

Now for what ever reason the Redskins have the pedal to the medal against a miserable SF team, oh wait they are at home.

Geno's on the right track. Houston gets pummelled last week @ Sea (and pummelled every week actually, but they looked especially brutal last week). Indy has a perfect record thus far. How do the Colts get pumped up to play a team they think they can beat in their sleep? They don't. They're only human, and there's no way the Colts come in with the same sort of intensity for this game as they would if they were playing someone they know is good.

Indy will win this game in the end, but this is just a classic overlook situation all the way.

The Colts are like the USC of the NFL.

They come out sluggish in the first half.

They turn on the afterburners in the second half.

They win games with their offense despite their average defense.

Seems like they do this every game.

I know you can only beat who you play, but this is getting rediculous!

(Congrats on the win tho btw)

Thanks guys.

Geno,

You are right that it was probably not the most inteligent bet, but I was just looking at how pathetic Houston has been. I will look at this one as a lucky win. Laying that much chalk on the road was probably not a good idea. Thanks for the advice.

Christo,

I know what you are saying. I was saying the same thing to myself today. The Colts are winning, but not in an impressive fashion. They are having problems each week putting together a complete game. You might be right, that when they play a really good team, they could have a problem. I have a feeling that New England might spank them. But then again, they could also step up to the level of the competition. It will be interesting to see what happens. Thanks for the congrats.
