Oh, maybe it's the scoreboards themselves.

Almost everytime I go to the SportsNetwork scoreboards, I get a popup ad & I go directly to each respective sports scoreboard page.

You kiddin' me about Yahoo? The last couple of days the scoreboard site's been unuseable because of the pop-up ad for that stupid wireless video cam.

It doesn't just pop up once either...evertime the site updates the scores or if I click to go into a game in progress...I get an additional pop-up window that opens up.

After about 10 min or so, the little beasts multiply until I've got ten to twelve additional pop-up windows populating my browser!!

Can understand one window poping up, but there appears to be something wrong here. Hoping they'll get it fixed. Had to switch to a different site.

You're right Code Red...minimizing the first one usually does do the trick in normal situations. But in this case it doesn't. This appears to be something else.

Even with my browsers Active X settings set to prompt, the little beasts still get through. Maybe it's time for a piece of commercial software to exterminate them.

I've fired off an email to Yahoo about it...but think it'll have about the same impact as spitting into the ocean.

Too bad...liked their scoreboard.

there is a free file you can get to download called popupkiller. A friend set it up on my comp. but I am clueless on comps. so can't help much more. It seems to be working though.
