The 2nd half total on this game should be 17.....not 23.
They want all those Joe Publics who bet the game to go over to chase and try to recoup their losses by taking the over in the second half.
It's aint gonna happen.

If I'm just "Joe Palooka", and think as you are saying, why wouldn't Vegas set that line at 17, like you think it should be?

I mean, if "they" want everyone on the over so bad, shouldn't "they" set a lower number?

Regardless how this game turns out, one thing I have learned is to not try to analyze what Vegas "wants" you to do. In the long run you will talk yourself out of more wins and drive yourself insane. Just bet based on how you expect the teams to actually perform and don't overanalyze the line and that will give you your best chance to win.
