What would the line be if Bowden wasn't the coach.

If Georgia and florida state line was based purely on talent and what the two teams had accomplished this year, and not on the Bobby Bowden and Seminole mystique, the line would be 12.5.
Georgia - 7 is a bargain. Don't get scared away by Bowden. Remember that alot of Bowdens success came with Georgias head coach as his best assistant and best recruiter.

The only way this one stays close is if Richt feels bad fro the old bastard.

Georgia -7 1.5 units

One other point. This will be a very partisan Georgia crowd, or so I have read. Fla st alum have been spoiled the last decade and are down on this team, while Georgia fans ar e thrilled to be there. fwiw

the problems at fsu i think run deeper that what we know right now. bobby has lost the assts that helped him to the pinnacle of college football, and their departure has left them a little more ordinary. few want to believe it yet, but this fla state team is not up to the standards of past teams. this ain't bobby's year, and i think he knows it.

my system that's done so well for me the bowl season leaned to oklahoma* but not enough for a play. consequently, i did something i haven't done all year and teased a college football game. played ok at a pick with georgia -1 and right now, i'm feeling pretty good about it. gl tonight.

*edited the above to read oklahoma instead of fla state. just a brain lock misstatement, hope it didn't mess anyone up.

I was on Bourbon street the last two days and I would say the crowd is 10-1 for Georgia,,judging by the attire they were wearing.
In fact, I don't even remember seeing Fla. State fans.
Now, this might be that Georgia fans only own team clothing,,I don't know that.
But, I expect this will seem like ole' home-week for Georgia and the team will respond for them.
