What Would You do with the money had you won the Powerball Lottery?

1st and foremost, I would call all of my creditors, pay them with chekc by phone, and then tell them to lick my balls. Then would pay off relatives debt AND tell them that they are on their own from here on out. Give them a second chance with a little starting over money, and see if they make their same mistakes all over again (i would give anything for a second chance like that, not asking for anything more than the opportunity to start over). After they prove they can do something with their lives, then give them the cash hookup and let them go crazy.
Would also like to donate to the many children's charities that are out there.
I would leave Texas and move to the Outer Banks, and live life like no one else in the world exists. As for work, they can fock off.

It is funny what that much money can do to a woman. You think you know your wife? If divorce has ever crossed her mind in the past, then 56 mil would probably send her packing. And quickly, before you had a chance to spend any of it.
Maybe you could make your wife sign a pre-nup before you called in the winning ticket to claim your winnings. :shrug:

Quit work, Take care of immediate family, Buy new House/Mansion w/ minumum 100 acres, Bank 10 million/Treasury Bill,Money Market/CD etc. 10% charity, Hire few people to keep me out of trouble plus maid/chef/part time driver. Go on an extended vacation with loved ones. Invest some in top companies , the phillip morrises, GM/FORD, Coke/Pepsi, etc. Lease luxury Box Turner Field also probably many sets of season tickets, same with the GA Dome and Ga Tech Football.
I saw one while down in Florida, very rare cars let me tell you, they still produce them if you have the $$$,l but your right, very low production numbers, I think 15-20 a year now!

I played powerball and got 4 out of 6, damn 2 more numbers and.......
won $100, so I paid off one of my Superbowl squares.

What to do with a bad parlay?
I don't know where to put this so I'll put it in this forum. I had a 3 team parlay going with the last game being Oakland/KC OVER 48 - it was bet Wednesday.
I turn on the tv only to find out that Noah was on his way to Oakland and my OVER was in serious trouble. Problem is the total is now down to 43.
So what do you do - buy the UNDER at 43 and risk a big middle, let it ride or buy the line up to 48 at -200 and settle for 1/2 the win.
I regrettingly decided to let it ride but I'm thinking the last idea wasn't a bad one in this case in hindsight.
What do others think?

besides all the "nice" stuff............I know one of the first things I'd do is the following:
Get one of those suitcases that they have in the movies....ya know the ones that fit exactly 1 million.......kind of funny how the money fits so perfectly huh.......anyway...........I would walk into a casino........go directly to the Sportsbook......and bet as much as I possibly could on the Leafs winning the cup........then with the rest of the money in my briefcase (I just love carrying around that briefcase!) I would go to the baccarat table and bet whatever is left on "player"...............and yes I would make sure as many people as possible could watch...............boy would I have fun with that one bet......get the whole casino to watch if I could!
