I just threw 6 slabs of ribs on the smoker. (3 spare and 3 baby back) I was told I couldn't walk in the door this afternoon w/o them. Does anybody else have any Super Bowl gameday favorites they like besides :mj14: .

I am doing the exact same thing for my SB party. 100 Hooter Wings. 50 hot & spicy and 50 teriaki.

Also picking up 2 large pizzas.

Also making chili bean dip. 1 can chili no beans, cream cheese, cheddar cheese on top, & few olives on top.

As for beer, 24 pack Bud, 24 pack Becks, 24 pack Corona, & 24 pack Coors Light.

All split 10 ways.

Scott dumb question, how's that a chili bean dip without beans? I'm curious about it though the cream cheese interests me. My girl makes a great dip with cream cheese and peppers and I bet I'd like it in chili as well.

Got a ton of stuff being made, all different type of chicken fingers, the cream cheese dip, spinach dip, swedish meatballs, antipasta to name a few. This is my first time that "my" team will play in a championship game, I have a feeling I'll be too nervous to eat anyway.

I actually made an error. I always make that dip with chili can with "no" beans. I prefer no beans. It tastes much better without beans unless you really like beans.

Simply layer it. Chile no beans, cream cheese (or sour cream), melted cheese, and olives. Put it in oven for 20+ minutes. It is my 2nd favorite dip. The bowl will be wiped clean. Artychoke dip is my #1.

I am rooting for your Eagles. I am sooo close to laying huge bet on Eagles +7.5 but I can't pull the trigger. Something is holding me back. If I had a big winning month I prob. would be betting Eagles huge with all my winnings this month. I def. will be rooting for the Eagles with ya! Good luck to your team.

Sounds very good Scott, I've had one like that with sour cream but I think the cream cheese would be even better. Enjoy the game.

Marinate dove overnight in Italian dressing and spices. Cut the meat off the breast bone. Get two pieces of dove, grab a jalapeno slice, and put in between the dove and wrap with a piece of bacon. Slide toothpick through. Grill for about 20 min. The work is time consuming but worth it. You have to have a ton of dove saved up, but that is what I use hunting season for. I will make about 100 of these and throw some tenderloins on the grill as well. Wash it all down with a couple of cases of Miller Lite, a nice cigar and follow that up with my wife's cheesecake (To die for). Pass out about 11:00 and sleep it off until about noon tomorrow.

Enjoy the day and good luck,

CM

You must have had a ton of dove left over from last season...I always hate to lay the dreaded "milo" for dem damn birds. Always spread that stuff by hand with my friends. I would recommend anyone trying dove breast. We would always wrap the breasts with some bacon and put them on a scure. Great stuff...
