I think it is because of a tatoo he has under there, and he can't have it seen, but not really sure.
please...it has nothing to do with a tat!! Just as njf said, he has had problems with the elbow..and the wrap is supposed to keep heat and compression on the area.
You for sure?? All it is, is an armband cut and rolled out... I don't know how that can keep pressure on the elbow.
you are correct, that "white" sleave used to be a covering for the compression wrap that used to be on the elbow. I remember him saying that after the elbow healed to the point where the compression wrap wasn't needed anymore, he still wanted to wear the "white" sleave almost out of superstition and feel.....not to mention, it has almost become a trademark of his. Sorry for the misunderstanding.
I live at the other end of the state...evansville is one of the furthest points south, and I live in Michigan City, which is one of the northern most points in indiana....about 30 miles due west of south bend and the greatest football school in the country....although I'm sure being in Nebraska, you feel the same way about your huskers...

Going to be a long season for Husker fans.
yeah, I know that they have lost some key players at key positions....but Nebraska always seems to fill the holes pretty nicely. I'm just hopeful that ND can return to the levels of the Gators, Seminoles, Huskers, Canes, Vols, etc....since 1993, we haven't even been close. Well Magic, I guess we should probably get back to Baskets here for awhile and hopefully in a couple of months, I will see you on the football forum, and we can help each other out with a little "local" information on our respective teams so we can hit da man!!
