For those who are living together without a long-term contract, think about your mate if something should happen to you. If you indeed love her, provide for her in case you have to take the big dirt nap. Remember that she will not receive any of your social security or perhaps even your pension money.

If I am living with another woman it is because I am already an invalid or senile, and she doesn't belong there in the first place. Yea, I am sure some gal is looking forward to emptying my colostomy bag as I call her by the wrong name and throw up on the poncho my mother crocheted for her the day after my third stroke. I would rather leave my pension to my cleaning lady, at least she did something useful. My girlfriend recently told me she wanted an

I know a couple who was together for 10 years before they decided to get married......they broke up 8 months later....

I'm single and probably will be until I take my own big dirt nap, so I can't add too much to this thread.....seems though that a lot of the people I know who got married, things ended up a little more sour than when they were dating/living together.......seems that expectations had changed when they got married.....

Why the ceremony would do this is beyond me.....

I say if you like what you got then why go through the marriage ritual.....if you don't like what you got then you probably shouldn't be together in the first place.
