In addition to all the previous movies listed, this one was pretty popular with the wrestlers of the 80's. Likely alot of you never watched it.

Tough limiting it to 3, I?m going to go with:

Caddyshack
Hoop Dreams
Go Tigers

Next three would be Hoosiers, Slapshot and The Natural.

I?m surprised by how many people list Remember the Titans. Way too Disney of a movie for my taste.

I like your list. I finally watched Hoop dreams for the first time a few years ago. Very entertaining. I am also shocked at how many picked Remember the Titans. A mediocre movie that doesn't even belong in Denzel's top ten movies, let alone a list of the top 3 sports movies. If you want something Disney like that, why not go with The Blind Side? At least you get to watch Sandra Bullock with your sap...

I had not heard of Go Tigers! It looks very interesting. I will have to check it out. :0008

As you can tell I'm a sucker for a good sports documentary. It's what I wanted Friday Night Lights (movie) to be after reading the book, but for some reason never took to the movie.
