John Boehner republican from southwestern Ohio was elected to fill, admirably I might add, Tom DeLay's big ole cowboy boots on the house floor today as leader of the wonderful majority party of the Christians and other morally correct people of this country. This former Gingrich lieutenant I'm sure will surpass Mr. DeLay in corruption and serve the 50% of the country that supports his party (you know, the morons) faithful and in the most hallowed and honored tradition of the gop.

I hope and pray that he continues to pass out tobacco lobbyist money on the house floor with that big bought and sold grin on his face. I'm sure he will continue to support his corporate friends at Haliburton, the insurance industry, manufacturers and the rest of those who continue to divide and destroy this country under the guise of freedom, terrorism and patriotism.

This country is so over.

Maybe if he stops living with Cindy Sheehan. On second thought Saul, I don't think so. I don't look very good in those grey wig things. If I had to wear one of those things in court I'd look like Charles Laughton in Witness for the Prosecution.

I'm not very familiar with this Boner guy. Was he Kirk Cameron's best friend on Growing Pains?

John Boehner, huh? Bet George Clooney can't wait to work that into his acceptance speech.

Boner was great on that show, along with the little brothers friend, Stinky Sullivan.

I just love it when the Republicans make a move that so upsets our resident left wing bleeding heart lawyer.

Yea bring back those great days when Gephart and his crew of corrupt buddies were in power, those were the days. :mj05: :142smilie :142smilie

it`s o.k.,ctown...this is the ploy....attack and defame even before the guy has had a chance to move his bowels for the first time as majority leader....

the 1st amendment gives everyone the right to be as stupid and hysterical as they want to be....

it also gives the rest of us the right to point it out...

carry on counselor...

I dodn't think I ever saw a full episode of 'Growing Pains'. It must have always been on opposite something else really good. ....or more likely it came into it's own during my brief anti-TV rebellion of 1985-86.

I do remember hearing stories that the dad (what's that arese's name) totally hit on Punky Brewster at some awards show when she was only like 14. Oh man, she really grew into a hottie.

Isn't Kurt Cameron a raging Christian now? He should kill Alan Thicke, cuz I bet Alan Thicke caused a lot of teen abortions.
