don't get me wrong, I'm a confirmed Progressive, my hero is TR, and I'm sure Obama is doing a better job than any of the Repubs could do, but...

When is he going to realize that debate and compromise and mister-nice-guy aren't the way forward?

Take, just for example, the Charlie Rangel circus. Obama seems only too willing help the Repubs tar and feather Rangel.

Here's what he said about Rangel - "He's somebody who's at the end of his career. I'm sure that what he wants is to be able to end his career with dignity. And my hope is that it happens,"

And here's what he should say -

Charlie Rangel served his country honorably and heroically during the Korean War, and has served his district faithfully for forty years. Charlie Rangel deserves respect.

Charlie Rangel has been accused of improper acts and omissions. Of those charges, he remains innocent until proven guilty. The truth will come out in the House ethics Committee hearings, and appropriate action will be taken if any is appropriate.

Whatever happens, whether Charlie Rangel is innocent or guilty, the fact of his lifelong service to his country will remain, and I, for one, intend to offer him the respect he has earned. Charlie Rangel is, and always will be, a better man than most of his accusers.

Yes,typically you stay away from bashing unless its taken your way.Some constructive criticism for you.Take a short break then when you clear your war inside your head come back with a fresh start.:shrug:

It has allot to do with my mom being a school teacher for 30 years and constantly correcting me and my brother, and she still does ! :facepalm:

I don't know if ever plan to go back to college, or start ? If you do and have to hand in a paper with your grammatical errors, wouldn't you want to have some corrective action taken before your Prof redlines your paper ?

My post wasn't meant to put a boot in your ass, it was an extended hand, and you slapped it away.

My argument is this isn't the place for grammar awareness.Many people on this forum come from all walks of life and education.

Some are educated more than others.This isn't the Harvard on-line grammar course the last time I checked it was a political forum.

My grammar might not be the best on this site but it surly is better than some so to call me out on it was bad judgment on your part.

Like I said knowing when or if O can produce private sector jobs anytime this century are on peoples minds more than my English(unless your TU) .That's just a guess.
