Hey guys. When is it okay to talk about gun control? We're not allowed to bring it up after Tucker Carlson inspired a guy to go on a racist rampage in Buffalo and we can't talk about it after 19 children were slaughtered in Texas. So, when do you think we can talk about it? TIA.

Gary I can see some adjustments on gun control such as can,t see allowing people to carry concealed weapons without going through permit process. Also I can little use of assault weapons other than assaults.

As far as school shootings I believe little to do with guns. When I was young there was no such thing and up until last decade there no such thing..
So what has changed to create these monsters. Previously children were involved in sports and other activities. Our hero's were mostly sports figures and actors.
Past ten years they get steady input of gangster rap and violent videos 24/7.It certainly has to have impact and is culprit in my opinion.

They've done all kinds of studies on possible links between things like violence on TV and first person shooter video games. There's no link.

The part I don't get is how this keeps happening and the Republicans will not entertain ANY reform discussion. Getting rid of the gun show loophole and re-instituting the assault weapons ban would be good first steps, but they don't want to give up the NRA money.

Aren't they the ones supposedly indoctrinating kids with liberal values and CRT? Now you want them to have guns? By the way, all those officers in the parking lot had guns. They didn't engage and they're trained and paid to do so.

Reminder: The rest of the civilized world watches the same movies and has video games but they don't have a mass shooting problem. They also don't have more guns than people and they don't make it easy to arm yourself with weapons of war.
