Sorry to disagree Weasel but once again you have it backwards. The problem is not the out of power liberals and Democrats. Although, they are nothing to be thrilled about. The problem is the Republicon party in power that has been hijacked by the Neocons.

you have to win elections to get power...to get the majority in congress...the white house...(the republicans are weak...i admit it..i`m not happy with them)..

but,you don`t do that with an agenda of snearing, sarcastic bomb throwing negativism.....with no message....

or by trotting out the same old extremist ideologues...by waffling on every issue(i.e. kerry..this guy`s amazing)....or travel to foreign countries denigrating the u.s.(gore)....or smearing our boys in combat(murtha)....

or by broadcasting a departure date from iraq to the enemy...you might as well e-mail the burglar that you`re leaving town...

or,maybe you do....up tilll now it`s been an utter failure....

we`ll see...

i`d like to see the dems wake up...i`d like to see the 2 party system make a comeback...

you have an outside chance with hillary...i`ve come to like hillary.....particularly when comparing her to dean, kerry, gore, murtha et al....

but,i see she got booed at the moonbat pep rally..

a little friendly advice...don`t throw the baby out with the bath water

Weasel, she got booed because she is no different than the creeps in power now. Talk about no message, what message are they providing? Stay the course? That is costing is 8 billion dollars a month in Iraq with no relief in sight. They were right to boo her Neocon ass!

you don't think stay the course is a message ?

of course you disagree with that & that's your right but not being swayed by the polls is definitely a message.

stevie..when you say that there is no relief in sight... are you basing your info on what you have read in the media ?...or did you go to iraq & witnessed first hand what's going on ?

of course i know the answer....my point is that we all are basing our info on media reports who gets a bigger audience reporting negative news (not just in the war), not first hand info.

we have to believe there is hope in sight......that is unless you're a democrat running for office in november.

all hillary is saying is that it`s stupid and counter productive to u.s. interests to cut and run before giving the iraqi`s enough time to fend for themselves......when we`re making progress.....she`s not keen on throwing the whole effort away....abandoning iraq and leaving chaos behind...

.
the message that would send to the rest of the world?...the global jihad?..would be devastating...

i give hillary credit for having the courage of her convictions...unilke kerry who changes his mind with every new poll..

you want a viet nam analogy?...you`ll have one..in the slaughter that will take place in iraq(as took place in viet nam with pol pot when we deserted our allies) if we leave before the government can minimally fend for itself...

a ridiculous idea...to cut and run before the military...and the new iraqi gov`t agree that they can handle the situation...

we`ve killed zarqawi...i don`t much like the idea of letting him have the victory in death that he couldn`t achieve in life...

we`re there...can`t change that..regardless of your position on iraq...i want our troops out,too...

but,it has to be accomplished with the long term best interests of the u.s. as the primary objective...

btw...bush`s iraq trip yesterday...wasn`t it interesting how warmly the evil bush was greeted?....isn`t it interesting that the troops have been voting overwhelmingly republican of late?....

wonder why a veteran like kerry couldn`t pull the military vote?....

How many years and how many soldiers should we lose, 50,000 before the slaughter takes place?

we`re there...can`t change that..regardless of your position on iraq...i want our troops out,too...

That is the problem, Why are we there? Being there is the mistake.

wonder why a veteran like kerry couldn`t pull the military vote

Must be that liberal media I guess.

Why do I have to believe there is hope in sight AR? Of course I hope there is but I don't see any. Do you? Don't ask me to put blind faith in our leaders, we did that with the WMD issue and look at the mess it got us into.

Weasel, you can't be that gullible. She is doing that 2 step to the middle to get ready to run. " Courage of her convictions "???? / thats funny. Why are you so obsessed by the far left and right, they are what they are.

she`s a panderer?...by sticking to her guns?......at a convention chock full of disaffected anti-war ex-hippies and peaceniks?....and getting booed in the process...

while kerry changed HIS stance yet AGAIN...

bryan...do you have a dictionary?...do you know the meaning of "pander"?...obviously not...

while a guy like kerry blows the way of the public opinion breeze...whatever way the wind shifts, kerry`s there...playing to whatever the crowd pleases...

"i was for it before i was against it"...they should engrave that on his tombstone..

i said during the election that the dems could have done worse than kerry...with the exception of gore,i was wrong...

kerry`s a fraud...

Stay the course. If we only new what that really meant. It changed so many times it's not even funny. But more change is coming this being a election year.

because we have no control over it....& it's better to think positive about something than negative when it's not witnessed first hand.

also one of the top bad guys is dead...that's positive.

they couldn't stop a gov't. from forming & a constitution from being drafted....& that's positive.

iraq has about 375,000 soldiers & cops to defend it's country...& that's positive

so i would rather think positive than negative...but that's just me..it's the way i tend to look at things in life & in business.

but if you prefer looking at things negatively...that is of course your prerogative.

AR, how is my being against this game in Iraq any different than your being against the way the Government is handling the imagration issue. I would not tell you to have a more positive outlook on the situation because our leaders are doing all they can. Just because that would be an insult to your inteligence.

AR, my biggest concern is the So called War in Iraq. The money being spent there overshadows everything else and in fact plays right into Bin Ladens hand if you stop and think about it. But more on that later.

Too be honest with you I thought English WAS the official language. So I guess I vote that it should be.

I don't walk lock step with my Senators or any political party.

Think for a second how the Soviet Union fell. They imploded. We never fired a shot. Much like the debt we are building fighting this so called war.

Bin Laden knows he can't stand toe to toe with us and beat us. Nobody can. But maybe we can spend ourselves to death.

Yes I do know what PANDER means, and yes she was pandering to the larger audience. She was not speaking to the people in that room. Unlike you ; I'll type slow for you so you can get it, SHE WAS LOOKING AT THE BIG PICTURE. SHE IS RUNNING , SHE HAS TO MOVE TO THE MIDDLE WITH STATEMENTS LIKE THAT TO HAVE A CHANCE TO BE ELECTED. I think I have given you to much credit. You are not even in the park.

"the bunker"
of course that`s what she`s doing...i`m glad you went back and read some of my previous posts...

and i`ll say this in response....for probably the 5th or 6th time....

what kerry did was pandering.....instant gratification from the immediate few... without forsight...he`s waffled so much he`s becaome a running joke...

what hillary`s doing is shrewd political manuvering....

she`s smart...she sees the bigger picture...like her or not,you have to respect her smarts...much like her old man...

like `em or not..they`re smart politicians...and i respect that...

the democratic political machine....and this is really saying a mouthful....is very possibly even dumber than the republicans....

if they don`t take over control of congress,it`s their own fault...the war...bush`s poll numbers...katrina....the dubai ports deal...immigration....

the albatross around the republican party`s neck is more like a pterodactyl....

they(the dems) continue to front their party with extreme ideological extremists and dimwits like dean, pelosi, gore et al.....kerry?...i don`t think he actually has any real beliefs.....

hillary has been moderating her extremist views for quite awhile now...on the war...on immigration...and has been laying in an enormous war chest(if reports are true)

why?...why has she stayed consistently toward the middle?....

because..like her husband...she`s politically savvy...and doesn`t like losing....

what`s happening is that the extreme left wing of the democratic party...the blogs...the marxist media..academia...the hollywood glitterati ..have overwhelmed the more moderate voices in the party...

no matter how they try and push their anti-american,anti-military,anti-democratic philosophy, middle america ain`t buying.....

these are the same folks that believe that the jihadis aren`t the problem...it`s america that`s the problem...the ones that said the same crap about reagan...

people that are firmly facing backwards...they desire to look at the past...they`re not shortsighted...they`re "rearsighted"...

but,hillary`s laying in the weeds...as a more moderate choice(at least publicly)...even though yourself...and i...aren`t altogether buying it...

the "real" dems love her...and i believe that the swing voters ...the ones that voted for bill clinton ....are listening...(doesn`t it shock you that i`m talking about hillary in this manner..nazi that i am..lol)...

.regardless of what the extreme left wing is saying now...the clintons are the royalty of the democratic party...

you going to throw retreads like kerry and gore at a giuliani or a mccain?(both much more formidable than bush ever was)....and expect to win?....

very doubtful..these retreads are losers...they struggle vs a hamstrung republican party..

..although,i hope that dems make the same mistake again...

republicans can`t really attack her on the war...or immigration...(actually,hillary has the public high ground on immigration)...

and she`s got her old man...like him or not,he`s a formidable force...

hillary/..politically savvy.....kerry/waffling panderer....

there`s a difference...
