And genuises like Ty Willingham decide they only want to recruit Florida, Texas and California so the blue chippers from the Midwest have opportunities to start at the so-called mid major level. Good news for NIU: they're 3-0. The bad news: NOW the tough part of the schedule starts.

I never paid much attention to the MAC until I joined Madjacks. There are plenty of reasons to go to a college playoff system, and now you can add another reason - the MAC.
You throw the best MAC team in a 8-team playoff, or two MAC teams in a 16-team playoff and you'll see 7 or 14 other teams praying not to draw them in the first round.

The MAC has been a quality league for years, alot of pro players have come out of the MAC, but the conf has never got the exposure that it deserve. I hope that with all the dominos falling within the conference landscapes that the MAC does not get raided.

But here in Mobile Ala, home of the GMAC Bowl, we get a Mac team here, and I hope its N.Ill, I guarantee they will be treated as the home team, and Bama fans will treat them with the respect they earned, and pull for them no matter who they play.
