Hopefully he lands on your favorite team as you love to bash the guy so much.

it is what it is..

an over-hype of a good person but a lousy QB.

I didn't make it that way

those who wanted someone to be what he isn't and never will be in this lifetime[a STARTING NFL QUARTERBACK]did this..

noone is to blame but those who wanted to try and tell those who can see with their own eyes that they didn't see what really happened.

hooray for Tim..by all media accounts a super dude..but please..don't tell me the dude is a NFL STARTING QB ready to lead team x to the promise land..

it isn't even remotely close the the truth and or fact..

he will be gone and forgotten just like all the others like Weinke..Torretta..White..Crouch and the list goes on..

ya want to see the second coming..watch RG111 and Luck read the line ..go thru the progressions and the call the play at the line that best suits to have success against the"D" scheme they read..

I'm no crazy Tebow enthusiast but he's a great athlete with an incredible spirit. He makes a difference in the locker room which goes a long way on the field. Why don't they make him a TightEnd or something?

I doubt he will ever be a good NFL QB. I just don't understand why you constantly bash him on here. It's almost like he offends you personally somehow.

Not saying you are wrong OS but it would be nice to actually see what he could do. Not stat wise as that only tells part of the story. I mean on a decent team and see what he can do for a few years. I am not a fan of his by any means and could care less if he ever takes another snap, but his 9-7 record as a starting quaterback in the NFL including a playoff victory can not just be ignored, because he isnt the prototypical QB. Why the jags did not go after him is beyond me, at the very least he would fill seats. The only thing more surprising to me is why the jets did go after him, they have proven they will not play him for any reason:shrug:

noone is saying Tim is a bad dude..

his horrible passing skills in a league where your QB has to be able to throw the football with skill to every receiver on every route on the passing tree is a requirement to WIN a CHAMPIONSHIP in todays NFL..

the LEAGUE IS NOW UNDER THE DIRECTORSHIP of a commish who is guarenting[sp] the stockholders return on the money for enterinty..

how...by ensuring that the game is played where stars do not get hurt and the ball is thrown 40 times a game..

Tim can't throw the ball forty times a game and beat a crew of misfits from MJ's..

I don't dislike the man..

But this give the guy a chance and he is a winner non-sense has got to cease ..

Gezzzzzzzz... ya think Jacksonville brass would have taken him if he could help at all...no..he can't take them from nothing to something..

why did the Jets take him..because the Giants won the SB again and the Jets were back on page 7 AGAIN in the local rag sheets..

the dude hasn't been in on 50 snaps in all the time he has been in NY..

doesn't that tell all of ya something...if he could help don't ya think the team management would have found some way by now to make this horrible franchise better..

they can't because he can't..who they gotta beat...they gotta beat BRADY..and HOODIE...good luck doing that w/a QB w/marginal passing skills and a panic button that says run instead of checkdown receiver.

I will say again..by all accounts at great human being..

but his style of play and skill set leave him way short of the abilities necessary to bring playoff and championship asperations to a franchise in the PASSING LEAGUE that is the NFL

Problem is, Tebow is not a bad dude......hes just not an NFL level quarterback. He might be able to find a home, at another position. For much less money.

One of espn's talking heads said that right now, maybe 1 or 2 teams would have any interest in Tebow. None would trade for him. If they did, it would be a 7th round pick.....or so.

We'll see. His skill set, doesn't seem to be ideally suited to the nfl. What happened in Den, an aberration. Maybe thin air, end of games.....who knows. But the jets management, coaches and players aren't stupid, and with Sanchez flaming out.......if Tebow had anything to contribute they'd be using him.

Remember ~10 years ago, pre-Big Ben, the steelers had a qb they called slash. Slash because he didn't have one position. He was qb/rb/wr. This may become Tebow's fate. The new slash.

Jags would be a natural fit for him and he would be a drawing card. I'm not a Tebow fan, but he is a better QB than the noodle armed Gabbert and Hennie is not the answer.

and when the novelty wears out the Jags are once again a team who can't draw in a trancient[sp] town ..trying to save a franchise that should never been awarded.

It's a short term answer for the Jags, but its better from a financial standpoint then what currently exists. I always thought the Jags would be the team to move to LA, but they have a pretty tough stadium deal that may deter the move. The whole state of Florida is a tough draw for all sports, when I moved to Tampa I was really shocked at the lack of attendance to pro sporting events. The Bucs are decent, but this Sunday will be the first home game to be shown on TV this season. The Rays have been one of the better MLB teams and are lucky to get 15k a night. The Lightning only draw well when they are in the playoffs, so it's not just Jacksonville. There are just too many other recreational things to do in Florida other than going to a pro game. I have thought about going to a Bucs game, but do I really want to go to a one o'clock game and sit in the hot sun for three hours.
