On the course!
The NFL is giving us their three act Thanksgiving Day Play. Where do you see the biggest "fix" coming in?

Act I

Philly 46
Detroit -2'

What is the better story here for the NFL? The perennial shitty Lions getting their third win in a row? Or, the equally shitty Mark Sanchez bring the Eagles an heroic win?

Well, I figure the powers-that-be can't afford people to not give a shit about games 2 and 3, so this one will be close through and through! I think you can bundle the spread and the total in any fashion you choose, and win every teaser! A FG at the end of the game wins/loses this one.

Somewhere in the 24/23 range.

ACT II

Carolina 44'
Dallas -1

Why is a 3-7 team favored over a 10-0 team? Mind you, the 3-7 team is 1-4 at home, to boot. Is Cam Newton going to sprain both ankles? Is he going to start throwing passes like Aaron Rodgers does when the fix is in? Way over and behind guys.......at their feet.......

I can't see Romo and Co running it up and past Carolina. That can only mean, to me, that Carolina has to look like shit today, in order for Dallas to pull the "upset". So, a team that is averaging 30 points per game, has to lay down today.

Under 44' in this one.

ACT III

Chicago 45
Green Bay -8'

Everyone is CERTAIN Green Bay is back! PLUS Bert Faver is getting his number retired tonight! Packers will smash the hapless Bears in a rout!!!

Eh....Or not.

Perfect time for Vegas to get a shit ton of money tonight, as the Packers squeak a win out with Rodgers looking like the hero late in the game as he drives them the length of the field for a winning TD pass in the final seconds!

Green Bay 31
Chicago 28

Happy Thanksgiving!

Happy Thanksgiving!

In recent years I don't remember any games looking like a "fix" on thanksgiving day. Most of them are cut and dry. You either have the right side or you don't. Happy Turkey Day YYZ :0074

We both thinking alike. I posted under in Dallas game and Chicago +9.

So weird that Dallas is fav over Carolina. Under

Green bay not so great on offense this year so back door cover 9 points is a lot.

Lion bettors going to take it up the ass. How many times have you seen this "lost the locker room BS" When the media makes a game so lopsided you know what happens:popcorn2

I love the heading!! LOL!

Anyway....I think Dallas is the right side of the fix today! This team has had MAJOR injuries during the losing streak creating that 1-4 home record. When healthy the Cowboys are solid! With Romo, Dez and Lee back for Dallas they are healthy!

Mind you Carolina is 1-4 ATS L/5 vs Dallas......I just feel this team is ripe for a loss

Cowboys game hands down is the "fix" of the day. Dallas wins this game and has no business winning it. Line should be Carolina -5.5 and yet its pk or even Dallas -1. I sit here and say this and in every one of my pickem pools I took Carolina . Dallas wins and may end up playing the final game of the season home vs the Redskins for the division crown.

GL today YYZ and Happy Thanksgiving!

First time I've seen in years, 6 NFC teams playing on Turkey Day.

FWIW, just a silly question, but when are you going to change that GOD awful avatar? LOL :mj07::mj07: Pregame finally booted her/him this summer but the ip address that person was using is still in effect and posting under various user names in several posting forums, not this one though thankfully. I'm sure he'll pop up with a new i-phone, use tap a talk and start posting again in this forum under another name however.

The fix for today? I got a funny feeling we'll see something in that Carolina/Dallas game to make us wanna go hmmmm!!

GL today YYZ!

So far, 0-2 in the Department of Fix, but if I can avoid a back door score in this Carolina massacre, I'll feel better heading into the nightcap!
