this is the game ROMO has to win for his post season rep to change IMO.....it will change my mind at least some....

don't get me wrong, I think he played ok in wildcard round....but it was against a shitty organization and he surely could have made it a much different game if he didn't have some misses, terrible decisions to take sacks instead of throwing it away, and overthrows.......he absolutely made mistakes....but he also won the game....credit given where it is due...

AGAIN I think he played ok.....but that game isn't nearly as close with a better performance by him....and a HUGE CALL that went their way may be the biggest "non call" in the history of football.....I do not think he hurt them.....he didn't help immensely.....he made the plays to win so cannot knock him, helluva win.....but again not overly impressive for what he expectations are with this squad.....but def. worth something winning a playoff game....

now, a ROAD WIN against a ELITE FRANCHISE and arguably THE BEST QB in the game while playing as a TD dawg........

I think that would sure help to eliminate the Anti-Romo talk

again, I never questioned his ability in regular season......I just think he has shown time and time again that he cannot win the "big games" because of bad decisions......it is not a coincidence that on some very very good teams, Romo and company continued to fall just short....., rogers, brady, manning have all done far more with far less......that is what I want to see....ROMO just taking over....like these guys have.....

I just haven't seen it from him.....whatever "IT" is.....and from the start of career when Romo was shot up to the "elite" conversation, I never knew why and just want to see what he has got

now again, in no way am I one of the guys who bashes Romo and thinks he is no good.....he has a lot of talent and at times looks like he should be in the "elite" conversation....but he has to win some big time postseason games....There are plenty of guys who have played well in regular seasons and just aren't the guys to win titles....Marino....Kelly....

Romo can either be a guy who won some regular season games, beat the lions once at home as a TD fav, OR.....he can be a guy who goes into Greenbay, beats Rodgers and the superbowl winning greenbay packers, and seattle the next week....

Neither are terrible ways to go down as a QB in the NFL.....but, again, I just want to see if he is the guy who can take the next step.....because A LOT of them cannot....I hope he can...

and I am sure cowboys fans are going to say "oh first he couldn't win a playoff game.....now it is that he cannot win a playoff game against someone better then the lions"......not what I am saying....he was the QB on a team that won a playoff game....big step in the right direction.....but again, is that the "big win" we have all been talking and waiting for???????????? I think not.....

you understand the game, and I am not meaning this to talk bad about room

but do you agree that Romo was not pulling the trigger as fast and decisive as he was in regular season?

he was hesitant, short armed a few, and took some killer sacks.....I just think he is so competitive that he is so conscious of "not making a bad mistake" that it gets in the way of letting his natural ability/instinct take over.....If he can learn to just be himself and do what he does best, I think the lions win could be just the start.....

I hope so....I think this team could be very very good....

agree Addict, he was timid and gun shy at times (perhaps bc that was the best def line he'd seen since seattle) which put his team in horrible field positions before the missed fg and then before Bailey hit the 51 yarder..Also he missed Escobar with a horrible pass before the winning td pass to Williams

was his best game qbr rating wise in the playoffs, plus he overcame the aforementioned blunders... and didnt create that turnover everyone was waiting for----

believe cows will play a lot more looser and confident this sunday from the beginning w/ the "us against the world mentality"--

playing with house money, never thought I'd see him go this far (had them at 5-11 best case scenario this year, wtf do i know)

funny thing too, this dude was fkn undrafted--not sure everyone remembers...how many fkn qbs drafted in the league in the mid 2000s are still around and continue to improve as much as leading the league in passing efficiency---hmm

oh well, haters gonna hate--later man

the fact that he is still doing it (playing in the league) tells ya all ya need to know...hes a player

like I said, even if he never wins another playoff game, he still has a NFL career to hang his hat on.....

I just am anxious to see what level he can play at......the really good for a long time regular season like Kelly/marino/Stafford so far......

or the win in the big time moments in playoffs like all the names we know.......ben/russ/brady

If he wins this game I think a lot of pressure is off his shoulders....I think this is the game that honestly changes it all .....

Win, and I think he can continue to win.......a bad game here however, and he may remain timid for the rest of career in this type of situation.....ive watched interview with guys who say the mental part in the big moments is more important then any of the physical....I hope room can get it done...

should be fun to watch.....for sure....
