As far as twists and turns, which make a game interesting and fun to watch because you NEVER know who's gonna win, the Orange bowl was as good as the Rose Bowl!
Thats what made USC/ND so great too. The momentum shifts, the lead changes, the HUGE but scarce turnovers....I forgot all about my hangover by the time it was over at least
Derek - still amazed you have that many posts in three months, crazy...but since you have arrived, I really like the way you look at games, so I am always interested in what you say......so I agree with you on the Orange Bowl, obvioulsy.
The bad thing is, being a PSU fan I got to see UM score with no time left, throw something at the TV (no bet, just a fan) give my daughter a bath (it was my night), and make it back down to the basement for the replay of the 4th and whatever with under a minute to play.......so I can't comment on the Nd-USC 2005 game
Regardless, looking forward to Sept 9th - so gald ND and PSU are playing again, although this one should be played in late Nov, I'll take Sept.
