I'd go with one of the suites at Mandalay, Luxor, or MGM Grand. Suites are really comfortable as opposed to staying in other rooms.

However, if money is an issue I'd go for the Excalibur. It's not too bad. IP has a better location but it's really dumpy.

Mandalay Bay would be my pick. I'd also watch a little basketball in a few different books. Then head over to OG or Sapphires for a little fun.

For the price I was pretty disapointed with Mandalay Bay's Suites. Their sportsbook is big, but they are pretty far from the middle of the strip.

For 100 extra bones I would stay at the Wynn, it has the nicest sportsbook by a mile IMO

Mandalay Bay and Bellagio I know for sure have nice sportsbooks although I've never stayed there.

MGM also has a decent sportsbook. Stayed there once but won't again...just too big of a casino.

Also, definitely NOT Luxor or Alladdin..the books are too small.

Imperial Palace is a dump, but decent to watch games.

Excalibur is cheap and has a newly redone sportsbook which is ok, but sort of small.

Also, Not listed on your list which might be a really good place to watch the games is the Las Vegas Hilton on North End of the strip. One of the best sportsbooks to watch the games IMO. Tons of big screens. I don't think I'd stay there because of it's location, but it's definitely a good place to watch all the games. It's also a stop for the monorail.

On the course!
March Madness is overrated.

This coming week is the week to be out there! Just as many games, equal excitement, and no crowds! (Rooms are half price, as well.)

Vegas Baby !!
Excalibur Hotel & Casino NO
Aladdin Resort & Casino NO
Imperial Palace DUMP
Hooters Casino Hotel HORRIBLE
Luxor Las Vegas TOO FAR OFF
Luxor Las Vegas THE STRIP
Harrah's Las Vegas NO
The Mirage NICE BOOK
The Mirage CENTRALLY LOCATED
The Signature at MGM Grand NO
New York-New York Hotel and Casino HATE THIS CROWDED PLACE
Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino SUPER NICE, WAY FAR AWAY
TI-Treasure Island NO
Wynn Las Vegas GOOD CHOICE
Bellagio GOOD CHOICE
THEhotel at Mandalay Bay FAR AWAY

For someone that likes to "shop lines", the hotels at the end of the STRIP , or off the beaten path, lead to tired legs !!

That shies me away from Mandalay, Luxor, Excaliber, etc.

Not a fan of Excaliber, Imp Palace, or Treasure Island.

Stay somewhere central, such as Mirage, Bellagio, or Wynn. Cab fair is incredible, and traffic and valet tips are just as bad. If you stay at one of these CENTRAL places, you have many "outs" for line shopping !!

Wynns and
The Hotel...........................
haven't stayed at The Hotel but those who have and want to blow the $$$ love it.
To me anything more n $100/ night is a waste of money. But i usually stay in vegas for 4 -6 weeks so my priorities are more long term $$ oriented.
Stardust, Circus Circus or Downtown Nugget Main Street Station , 4 Queens, Fitz are all fine fer me.
The Dust has always been #1 because i spent 80 % of my sports book time there and cut my teeth on capping there. The Info library was always handy there fer stats. All gone now !!

One more thing................

One more thing................

All the hotels mentioned above are a pain in the Arse to get in and out of if u plan on having a car.

The Dust u could Park at the Spts book door fer easy in and out. Not mentioned here but Hilton off strip also has parking next to the Spts book fer really easy in and out. Rooms are fine and over the years has been the best bang fer the buck in my opinion but again no car and u are stuck.
