Well, since I am a pacifist and supporter of individual liberties, I guess it is really no surprise who my top candidate is:

Winner: Dennis Kucinich (91%)

War authorization: One of the few in Congress to vote against the Iraq War authorization. Consistently criticizes Bush's management of the war.

Security/liberties: Consistently voted against the PATRIOT Act.

Capital punishment: He would eliminate the use of the death penalty for federal crimes.

Runner up: Barack Obama (87%)

I guess I'm probably one of the only people on this board to have Kucinich on my list, much less on the top

Damn Tree Hugger!

But you are my favorite Tree Hugger! :toast:

what a biased survey. Slavery Reparations??? Give me a focking break. When did this become a real issue?? School choice, stem cell, gay and lesbian, marijuana laws, some of the other things I don't feel like are presidential campaign issues.
Never even heard of the "League of Conservation Voters", but didn't take me long to figure out their agenda after looking at the home page... :com: What a terrible example to use for or against when talking about the environment. How about a real organization like Ducks Unlimited that has done far more for the environment and wildlife than any think-tank has.

I took it anyway...
