IIRC the books usually kill it week 2 due to people overreacting to week 1 performances. Hopefully we have some local knowledge (not fanboys) of NFL teams that looked better or worse than they should have yesterday.
My local team is the Steelers and they probably looked worse than they will ultimately be. A FG win against the Browns as a 9 point favorite isn't exactly reason for optimism, but LeVeon Bell did not show up until after all of preseason/camp was complete and the offense was out of sync because of it. He obviously didn't rack up yardage like he will, but he didn't block for shit either which led to a good number of holding calls as well. Bell is an elite back and will return to form.
The defense is what it is and what it is is very average, at best. This is a team that will put up points, and concede them.
Overall, the Steelers are not as bad as they looked yesterday, but should not be viewed as able to cover any large spread due to the weakness of the D.
