kidding boys. with indians being eliminated after an atrocious september, figure i might as well take it out on my west coast pals.

god help me if they lose mjalam :hitwithro :

oakland (+112) over anaheim

mulder has been shaky of late, but ill trust him in a big game long before ill trust john lackey in a big game. i will offer this caveat: last time i bet against lackey, he gave up a run on two hits in 7+ innings in cleveland a few sunday nights ago. i do like the fact that francisco rodriguez went 2 full innings yesterday. that son of a bitch is lights out, so any little advantage, ill gladly take. maybe fatigue sets in for him if a's happen to be trailing late. mjalam, if your a's never win a game the rest of the season, bring home an a's W tonight and ill be happy. if they do that, i promise not to crack any more jokes about oakland choking in october. unless of course they do it again. then ive got carte blanche to rip em a new one.

go a's!

mjalam:

i will wait to wish you happy birthday until after the game. that way, i wont have to rescind my well-wishes in the event that oakland loses.
