2002 Season Record 21-29 -7.19 units

Back for another season of abuse. I don't think that the White Sox answered any of their glaring problems in the off season and teams that play defense will give them problems. Buerhle's got two years of solid pitching behind him but this season I will not ask for a team that has a history of being inconsistent, to play to form.

Hernandez +155 1 unit

I disagree and took the Chi Sox today. On paper they look like they should put up some runs & if the Big Hurt can resemble anything close to his old self, well that will be an added bonus.
I like the Sox to challange the Twins this season. The key will be their pitching after Buehrle and Colon. I like Koch in the bullpen and if Gordon can find is stuff, he will ge a big help too. A lot of "if's", but on paper at least, I like their run potential.

Buehrle has been a real ace thus far and I like his numbers against KC. I'll go against KC and Hernandez, who would be a 4th or 5th starter on most other teams, IMO.

Just my 2cents. Good luck.

I am, too. But until Frank goes, this team has a major headache in the clubhouse, a defense that doesn't seem to get better even though everyone knows it's their achilles heel, and a pitching staff that remains two years away from being dominant (just like the last 10 years).

I don't know much about baseball handicapping so I just look at the Sox games and steal Jack's plays. It didn't work too well last year (my plays - not Jacks  )

My plan is to fade Buerhle and look for value when Garland and Wright are on the mound and never, never back them when they appear to be making a run and never fade them when they appear to be sliding.

Good Luck to the White Sox, but maybe next year.

From everything I have read and seen. Freank will have a Huge year this year. I tlooks like he has come in at a good weight for a chance. He also should have all his personal problems behind him

white sox are improved-but unless there d is better and pitching especially middle relief gets better-it will be difficult to take over a twins team that has no weaknesses.

Don't mean to stomp on your thread BObby, but I wanted to let Goldcupsports know that I'm a SHOCKER FAN!!!

I grew up in Rose Hill and played a little college ball at BCCC. Nothing to brag about, but I'll be in Wichita this summer for my 20th reunion.

Shoot me over an email @ msicorp1@yahoo.com and we'll talk!!!
