I?ve only bet baseball before on parlays when I?ve posted up with a book and was waiting for football season, so this is my first time handicapping of any sort for baseball. I AM THE SQUAREST OF THE SQUARES when it comes to this sport. I will be piggybacking this board for most of my selections and in return, I will be following the White Sox for the year and making selections on only their games. As I don?t follow baseball as other sports, this analysis will be one-sided in the fact I will not know that much about the teams that they are playing, only what I get from ESPN. So for the first selection,

Seattle owned the Sox last season (as almost everyone else) and this is probably the worst place to start the season for them with the possible exception of Minnesota. Buerhle has now had a full off-season feel the pressure as the #1 starter and face the opposing teams best. Don?t see him keeping up to last year?s pace and the 7.10 ERA in the spring is a concern.
