Despite the impressive showing for Hernandez, I'm still not sold on him as a starter and Neal Cotts looks to be called on today as he hasn't seen action in a week. No movement on any of his pitches. Indians bats have to come around sometime as they're just a better hitting team than they've shown

bobby, maybe u have some local info on scott podsednik, he is from my home town. have been watching the sox now that he is on the team, but can't understand why they don't play him on a regular basis, is he hurt or is it something else. even when he has a good game they seem to pull him before the end of the game and then not start him the next time out. any info would be appreciated and good luck this season. :mj14:

He pulled something and is at 80% (hamstring or abdomen -I can't remember which) - he'll be back this weekend.

Carl Everett gets his first start in the field today - Should be fun to watch

thanks for the reply, knew it had to be something like that, he's had a history pulling groin muscles throughout his carreer. he's a good kid and damn he's fast, been watching him play ball since his little league days. Thanks again

Pods has a pulled groin, he is going to sit out until tomorrow just to be cautious.

Everett played CF a lot last year... :scared ...he can handle left.

BBC, hate to say it, since I am a Sox fan, but I think you are right. Cleveland is the right side tonight. :(
