I'm very interested to see how the Sox do after last night. Ozzie was quoted as saying that he felt great about last night and that "it feels like we won the game" because of how they came back after going down by 7 in the 1st inning.
I have conflicting thoughts on that statement. First, I think it's good because it definitely did show heart that they didn't just toss in the towel and wait till tomorrow. If they use those positives to fire them up, this Sox team is very capable of going on a roll. On the other hand, you should never be happy with a loss, and I just don't quite understand how you could say that "it feels like we won" just because you were able to make a game out of it.
I like the energy of the Sox early in this season, and I think getting them at a hefty price like this at home is a gift, but I don't know if I have it in me to back Garland.
I do see pretty much everyone else on the Yanks today, though, and that actually makes me like the Sox more.
GL Bobby!
