2003 Season Record 35-43 -7.90 units
2002 Season Record 55-44 +18.37 units
Back for another year of abuse at the hands of the White Sox.
Had a rough time dealing with Ozzie's effect on the Sox last year as Manuel's bullpen moves were so predictable and outcomes obvious. Never got a feel for when Ozzie was going to go small ball and when he was going to let his team play long ball. Hopefully, last year turns out to be an expensive lesson that provides some money for me this year.
I was pretty down on the Sox moves during Spring, but I think that they're pretty undervalued as a team right now, they've got pitching which is something only the Twins have in this division and I grabbed 2.5 units on them for the Central at +425 (Also got the Cubs under 89.5 wins for the year - They will continue to have the most talented disabled list in the league - but I digress). They can't be as inconsistent as they were last year.
They've preached small ball all offseason and it's now Ozzie's team, however, they still don't have all the tools to make the offense work. Think we'll see a lot of base running errors early (just like last year) and see a lot of paltry offensive stats in the Spring.
Two aces going tomorrow; the best of both pens available and three base running errors
by the home team tomorrow has me screaming under.
Under 9 (+105)
Happy Opening Day Everyone!! Go Sox!! Go Under!!
