Meche v. Colon for the second time in 6 days. Hard to take the Sox here as Seattle bats have killed them in recent memory and Meche has been unbelievable in his last 4 starts. Not going to buck the trend until the Sox show that they can hit in meaningful situations.

Did you see the game last night? They looked like they were sleepwalking, Crede and Alomar look so unsure of themselves and Konerko and Mags are all-stars with the bags empty.

I tend to overreact when I see apathy and that may be the case here, but I need to see some fire from a Sox team that is free falling before I back them against a >.500 team again.

Yeah I watched it. I will say this Manuel needs to go period. The team looks like they are sleep walking every freaking game. Manuel does not know how to handle a pitching staff either.... Maybe they need to bring up Joe Boechard to put some life in the offense. One other guy who is really pissing me off like he does every year is Frank Thomas. What happened to this guy sure he had some problems off the field but Dam. I see him getting into that habit again going after off speed stoff dropping down his body and poping out or just plain wiffing.....

One last thing. If I am the sox GM right now. I would fire Gary Ward and do everything in my power to get Harold Baines as the hitting coach. He is a hitting GURU.

Everytiome I here Gary Ward the only thing I think of is him standing out in left field with his hands in the air. I was at a game where Gre "The Bull" Luzinski put one on the roof. Oh the good old days at the old ball park. Walk in with a beam in yourt way with the stench of stale beer. Now that is white sox baseball....LMAO

I've never heard that Baines is a good hitting coach. Surprising to me because I've never seen a batter look so bad when he got fooled by a lefty's off speed pitch.

Liked Manuel when he was grooming the Sox when they were young, but his effectiveness is gone. He's hinted he wants to leave anyway, so let him go now.

Funny comment about the old park, it was always fun, but the only thing different between New and Old is the smell of stale puke has been replaced with the smell of good food. When it's full, it's a great park. The run towards the Royals will start after this week.
