Guillen stated in the press that Garland will need to get 6 innings in regardless of performance, which may or may not be a worry, but I look at it as a positive. In 5 starts against the Blue Jays from 2001-2003, he is 4-0 with a 1.56 ERA and present Blue Jays are batting .231 against him.
Sox haven't seen Batista but once with limited success. He's having a hard time getting it going with Toronto this year like so many other pitchers after free-agency. I loke the Sox batters chances against his style and have no fear of their bullpen
