Maybe I should start worrying about what is actually happening on the field instead of trying to figure out what should be happening or, maybe more to the point, what I hope happens.
Think Toronto actually has a fair price, but I hate laying that much chalk. Have a bad feeling about a run line in this game, too. Garland has been good as of late and I like him against the better teams of the league, which Toronto now belongs. And the mere fact that Escobar is a righty should mean enough to keep this under until the Sox show that they can hit righties. They are a team that is one-sided at the plate, but none of the main core has ever had this much trouble against righties, but until they break out of it, I am no longer going to try and time the moment that it will happen.
The only way that this goes over is if the White Sox get to Escobar early and Toronto has to try to come back. And with the way the Sox have been hitting, SPECIFICALLY, the first time through the lineup, I don't think that them getting an early 2-3 runs is very likely.
