Season Record 18-22 -3.82 units

Braves (Glavine) -210 3 units

When I saw that Ritchie was facing Glavine, I thought that I would take the Sox for the value. As much as I have hated Ritchie all season, Manuel noticed that he was aiming too much and took the time to show him how effective he is when he just lets the ball rip by videotaping his pitches and noting the radar gun. I'm a sucker for this type of info and was about to throw a unit on the Sox. But looking at the present Braves and how they've hit Ritchie in the past when he was decent, it looks like it won't even matter.

Most of the Sox will be seeing Glavine for the first time and Ritchie has already been seen. Hope its as easy as it looks.

Glavine had his letdown last game. Not that it's impossible for the Sox to win, but the only positive for Ritchie is that he has to be well rested as he gets shelled every time he steps to the mound.

Last 5 games

30 runs against (22 earned) in 24.1 innings; 43 hits given up

Offensively, the Sox bat 20 points lower against lefties (.244) and only Clayton has seen Glavine and he probably won't be playing tonight.

But as my record shows, I'm often wrong.
