Wright's coming off of a week's rest and Buerhle's CG yesterday will help the Sox cause as Wright won't get far past the 6th inning today. Sox are as hot as they've been all year winning two series on the road against winning teams, they are starting to hit respectable numbers against righties, are getting 2-out hits with runners in scoring position and the relief pitching is relatively sharp.

Cubs are going in the opposite direction and for all the talk about pitch counts, their relievers aren't getting the job done over the last week or so. Lots of pressure on Clement to eat up some innings with one pitch outs here which goes against the power pitcher's mantra.

Didn't see that Gordon was responsible for those runs as I'm working in my office. Just assumed it was Koch. But the last thing I want to see is Billy Koch in a tight game for a save.

For future reference, The Sox are going to a closer by committee with Gordon, Marte and Koch all being called upon. I think that it will only help the Sox.
