Had time to post the reasoning:

Loaiza's ERA is over 7 runs in July. His velocity issues have made him very hittable. Also, Guillen was in the press earlier this week stating that he's talked to Loaiza about being more aggressive in the strike zone so that his pitch count isn't so high by the 5th-6th inning that he has to take him out. Guillen's in a bit of a pinch because the White Sox have only 4 off days for the rest of the season. His bullpen has become unreliable and he needs his starters to go 7-8 innings/game.

Silva's been hit hard by the Sox all year and are hitting over .375 (all teams are hitting over .300 against him) against him. His record and ERA haven't reflected how bad he's getting hit.
