Garland?s always been inconsistent, but he?s a gamer when he gets the nod in an important game. I?m not worried about his stats against the Tigers as those were in games that he usually doesn?t show up for (against bad teams).
The Sox saw Ledezma when Bonderman got kicked out of the game last week. They didn?t do well, but they had no prep time to prepare for him and they usually fare well against below average pitchers the second time around.
