WHITE SOX/TWINS Under 9.5 -110 ? These clubs went easily Under for the third straight meeting in last night?s Minnesota 2-1 extra inning win. Eric Milton has come to hand nicely after a horrendous start, as he is now 12-7 with an excellent WHIP of 1.19. His ERA is still rather high at 4.89, but he is 5-1 with a 3.35 ERA in his last 6 starts, posting an amazing WHIP of 0.91 over those efforts. He was roughed up for 6 earned runs in 4.2 innings the last time he faced the White Sox, but he had hurled 8 consecutive Quality Starts against them prior to that, so I look for him to rebound well tonight. Wright is 7-8 with a 5.39 ERA for Chicago, but he has actually pitched much better than that, as his numbers are skewed by a 2.2 inning, 8 run performance vs. the Cubs on June 28. In actuality, Wright has been pretty consistent, allowing 4 earned runs or less in 15 of his last 18 starts. He also pitched commendably in his only start against the Twins, allowing 2 runs and 5 hits in 5.2 innings.
