I have to disagree with your statement that "everything was on the line" for ou. Nothing was on the line as will be proven tomorrow when the BCS comes out and has the dirt burglars in the Sugar Bowl.

I agree. . . would like to see LSU/USC. . . of course I am still content that it will be USC/Michigan.
I still can't believe all of this happened tonight. . . OU simply had to show up even if they lost, make it a close game. The blowout just doesn't sit well with me at all. How the hell is that team playing for it all when they are 2nd best in their conference?

Completely forgot about that. . .
You know, some years there are clear cut National Champs and others there are teams that are crowned yet will always have that question mark. . . this will be one of those years where OU, LSU, or USC will win it but so many will question it. . . its really a shame for the team that wins it and the team that doesn't play in this final game.

BCS=BS. IT IS HORRIBLE. OKY GOT PUNKED TONIGHT AND THEY DO NOT DESERVE TO PLAY FOR THE TITLE. BESIDES, AN EARLY LOSS IS MUCH BETTER THAN A LATE LOSS AS GOOD TEAMS SHOULD BE IMPROVING AS THE SEASON CONTINUES. :shrug:

usc/lsu is a pretty appealing match-up...i think you have some hatfield/mccoy caliber rivalry building in many gambling forums between lsu and usc fans...

The Big 11 doesnt have a title game nor do all the teams play each other. Ohio State officially was co-champ with Iowa and we will never know who wold have won that game.
