I'll start this one with a couple of Florida teams. No offense to anyone but Florida State and Miami should be at home watching bowl games this year.

:nono: ESPN wouldn't have anything to serve up to the degenerate gamblers like us. You know what, I like December bowl games and I look forward to seeing old Bobby Bowden tee it up against UCLA. So I don't know about you, but I'll be on a couch enjoying the Weiser Lock Copper Bowl and the Gallery Furniture.com bowl with a 6 pack, a nice buzz and a couple hundy on the game.
I will say Iowa should have stayed home this year. They beat Purdue, NILL, Ill, Montana and SNUCK out a win against ISU and Cuse. That is their resume.
I dont think miami should make it either. Both these teams had terrible years and have seen their fair share of the spotlight this season, give a better team with less buzz a shot to shine this year.

Agree with you completely. Teams with great names and horrible programs like Slippery Rock and Morehead State should go instead.

in a fantasy world it would be the top 32 teams
4 pods of 8........meet in the middle, leaves us with 31 bowl games.......the money this would generate for the NCAA and conferences everyone would be happy.......

i personally don't car who is in a bowl game....
i love college football..so for me the more bowl games the better i like it......

I was looking for decent teams off the beaten path earlier to subsitute for Iowa/Miami but I went into the Sun conference on yahoo sports and realized they are already in bowl games
I honestly couldnt find too many quality teams that arent in bowl games.
