One thing you should always consider when betting totals is the bullpens. You knew there bullpen wasn't the greatest didn't you? I understand why you guys are pissed but it was only game #2 bringing in the closer when you are all ready up 1-0 is pointless.

I have to agree with all of this. . . Brenly USUALLY makes some pretty smart decisions, but not tonight! Morgan was certainly not a smart decision. . . Swindell usually gets the job done, but not very solid either.

I was sitting on the fence on this one, debating whether or not to play the total, when I noticed it go to 7.5 Under -125 at WAGERSTREET about ten minutes before gametime.... I still had -105 elsewhere, and jumped on it. SOON after, the line corrected back to EVEN...
One pitch in, and I'm nervous... not good. Then, we get seven comfortable innings, and HOW I forgot about the DREADFUL DBACK pen is beyond me. With SCHILLING/JOHNSON going, count on this series to stay UNDER consistently, but otherwise, it's an OVER play as the fabulous dodo bird BP proved once again. Sucks when you only got 12 outs to go and you can afford 3 runs to be scored when only 4 have crossed in over 7 innings, and you STILL lose... live and learn!
IF the starter can't go NINE, avoid the TOTAL LINE!

Randercity, i totally agree with you....
I'm sitting here thinking, great, I've got another under in the bag...with about 2 innings to go..no way that it'll go over, because if it did, the losing team would have a bit of consolation that they lost a CLOSE game...but fawk....seven runs in 2 late innings...???
back to the drawing board....unloading huge on the UNDER in the shilling game...
watch for the total to skyrocket down to 6.5...LOL!!!!
