Can't imagine they'd bring Beckett out to start game one, think Willis gets the nod?

Probably Willis because he's a lefty and the Yanks haven't seen him.

I'd follow up with Beckett then Pavano and Redman.

Penny won't start, at least not game 1. Jack has lost trust in him. I personally like him better out of the pen to cover a faulty starter. Let Pavano take his place.
If Becket had pitched one less inning I'd like him for Sunday, but with 40+ pitches, I like him better for gm 3.

Start: Willis, Pavano, Beckett, Redman.

Long relief: Penny, Bump, Tejera

Middle relief: Helling, Fox

Close: Looper, Urbina

I see the books have Penny up as the Game 1 starter!

Yea, saw that this morning. That's why they call him Jack "Midas" Mckeon. Never know WTF he's gonna do, but somehow it always turns out allright.

Willis was obviously pretty nervous in the NLCS against the Cubs walking the bases loaded before giving up the slam to Ramirez.

Never really seemed to get in the groove.

Can't imagine what his nerves will be like pitching in Game 1 at Yankee stadium.

ESPN says Penny, Redman, Beckett for the first three games. Sounds like Willis may not start at all, and they'll use him out of the bullpen. I don't know about that, Willis could be strong facing a team that's never seen him before.
