Wash St only played one strong defense away from home..Ohio St and they did nothing. Overrated team from what is becoming very apparent, a highly overrated conference. You can tag the SEC this season with that label as well. I do like Georgia though, quality team that should walk over FSU tonight. Big Ten, Big East, and ACC have acquited themselves quite nicely so far, considering how much heat they have taken...how they can't compete with the Pac-10's and SEC's of the world.

Wash St had a lame duck coach..so I figured on them being unmotivated but Tennessee...well they just didnt show up at all....Ive never seen a Tenn team this unprepared.The coaching staff needs a major change.Sanders has been horrible all year with his lack of play calling and Fulmer needs to coach the cheerleaders cause all he knows how to do is clap...Wash St didnt have the talent to hang with Oklahoma but Tenn was 5 times more talented than Maryland...

Hard to compare conferences in bowl games and say so and so conference stinks.

I'm a West Coast guy and I thought all year the Pac-10 was down compared to last year. I thought SC was clearly the best team in the conference with WSU a close second. WSU had a tough matchup with OU (and Gesser looked to be still injured)

Face it outside of the following teams everybody else was pretty average this year.

2 SC
3 UGA
4 OU
5 Iowa
6 OSU

I guess MD doesn't get any credit for helping TN look so bad? Apparently E.J. Henderson won the Butkus award with smoke and mirrors too? :shrug:
The only real disappointment with the ACC in the bowl games was with FSU, whose one quarterback didn't know how to use an alarm clock and another quarterback who didn't know how to use a checkbook.
