I'd be very leary looking at VCU a 5 seed, vs Akron a 12 seed, 12's over 5's, 11's over 6's last 3 years, ats the favorites are 37% first round. VCU last 10 games not very good, Akron even without their lead PG, has played very respectable and took it to a once thought of NCAA hopeful tourney team in Ohio very easily on Saturday.
Just a lil food for thought, much much more can happen between today and game time as we all know.

You bring up good points.
Time and time again I seem to discount my teams chances when it seems that very difficult obsticles have been tossed their way. I seem to always find a way to sell them short.
I have over looked the fact that , with exception of Abreu, that this roster is dominated by good kids, high character kids and they are very, very well coached. They seem to take whatever circumstances that they face and find a positive way to deal with it.
All that said, this will be the ultimate challenge but who knows. The loss of Abreu will be most telling in this spot. This team has surprised me all year long. What's one more game ?
