who's selling my e-mail addy?

Man, for about the last three weeks i've been inundated with unwanted e-mails from sports services and touts. I un-subscribe to each of them, and that takes time, but it seems like they're not slowing down a bit.
Where in the hell are they getting my e-mail address from?

Same here. The email address on my page has only been given out to this site. At all my books I try to use a different yahoo address. Last couple of days I would say I have gotten a dozen or so junk emails from various touts/books.

I usually don't get them.

But for some reason, I am on some advertising list for people with small, impotent pee-pees because all I get is Viagra and "make yourself 3" bigger ads.

Don't hit remove from list because then they know you have an active email address and are more valuable for resale.

you think you get them have a website i get over 40-50 a day, because the way the email is listed, then i get the line trackers pc programs to win in sports, and all the spamers trying to get me to pay between 40-100 bucks to send out 50,000 to 100,000 spam emails a month. and that is something i do not do. it's in poor taste now if you want the news letter fine you sign up but this mass email stuff is the worst i just trash the shit, do not hit unsubscribe or it will be worse.

anytime you go play a game and vist the girl sites and stuff like that they have ways of getting your email ,gator and weatherbug are some of the worse and something called bonzi buddy mess with them and you will have tons of junk. just trash or i am able to block through my email i have a block list of over 170. least i cannot be blamed for dending unwanted trash emails won't go that way.

yep, spam SUCKS. I use a hotmail and yahoo address for EVERYTHING online. I only use my personal email address for friends and family I email too. That way, if I get an email in my inbox, I know it's not going to be an unsolicited spam. Also, with hotmail, u can block senders. I have hundreds of people blocked. The kind of stuff I get is, "Cum see my tight teenage body", etc. I only get it once though from each sender.

I laughed when I read about weather bug, gator, and bonzi buddy. They are terrible, u are correct. Another one is comet cursor, and I also hate that frikkin' realplayer.

i have kazaa downloaded on my laptop,

but i can't remove the thing, and i think it's completely vexing my machine.

anyone had this prob?

just got 5 as i was just gone for 5 mis. inside sports report 5* lock for sat, cstar saturday winner,see britney get gang banged,valley sports top weekend plays, and some chick named jill goodwin telling me she can turn 25 bucks into 10,000 in a month if i buy her 5 pc programs and down load disk and follow simple directions, she claims the money will start flowing within 2 weeks of buying but just to show she is true to her word she attatched letters from happy new rich people,next the juice man will be sending me shit with those thick ass eyebrows maybe they will bring the pocket fishermen back and spam it on line, that plastic junk could not reel in a gold fish from my tank. yes i had one ,you know hoe you have the one aunt that buys the worst christmas presents well that was 1 of them i love her with all my heart but just not the gifts also got a snake light from here and some very bad looking shirts growing up the terry cloth one like powder blue or the silk shirts with the flowers back when i was younger those were the days

just to assure you......i DO NOT sell email addresses from this site.

i have all the email functions of the forum turned off so the members don't get spammed from touts.

another reason why i don't want email addresses posted on the forum.

and, NEVER un-subscribe from spam email because if you do, they will know it's an active 'good' email address and sell it.

If you are using Outlook Express, click on the Message tab in the top left hand corner, and while the e-mail is highlighted in your inbox, then click Block Sender out of the drop down options (I think it is "Junk E-mail" in OE 6) In the future, whenever you get an e-mail from this source, it will automatically be sent to your "Deleted Items" folder and it will never appear in your "Inbox".

If you want to be able to receive e-mails from someone you have put in your "Block Sender" list, click on "Tools", then "Message Rules" and then click on "Blocked Sender List" and it will take you to a box where you can remove that sender from the list.
