I don't put a whole of stock in those numbers either (and I definitely don't use them in my capping) but while I doubt their validity in terms of accurately accounting for the dollars and/or volume of bets being placed on one side or the other I do think they give a good general idea of the public opinion on a game.

In any case, I was just using that as an example of why I disagree with elmer's feeling that there was too much "san fran love". Clicking through the forum so far today it looks to me like about a 50-50 split, maybe 60-40 in favor of San Fran.
