More shocking hate crimes: WWII veteran brutally beaten and killed in parking lot

It?s been a rough news week. Not only has Glenn told you about the horrible atrocities being committed against the Christians in Egypt, back here in the U.S. senseless and brutal violence seems to be on a the rise. Earlier this week, Chris Lane, an Australian baseball player attending school in the U.S., was targeted and killed while out on a job in Oklahoma by a group of teens who claim they were simply ?bored?. Well, unfortunately the news cycle went from bad to worse yesterday, as Glenn informed the radio audience of two more gang-like killings that took place.
Last night, a disturbing story broke of an 88-year-old WWII veteran, Delbert Belton, being savagely beaten by two teenagers in a parking lot in Spokane, Washington Wednesday evening. Tragically, Belton passed away in the hospital from his injuries on Thursday morning.

Belton was in the parking lot of the Eagles Lodge at around 8 p.m. on Wednesday when two male suspects assaulted him for no apparent reason.
Police have released surveillance photos of persons of interest in the homicide investigation. ?They are described as young African American males of average build,? KHQ reports. They are believed to be between 16 to 19 in age and were wearing black clothes, while one suspect was seen wearing a black ?do-rag,? according to police.
Glenn was shocked by the story and the violence being aimed at one of America?s bravest citizens ? a man who fought and risked everything so these criminals could live freely in America.
?I mean, I can?t imagine. What have we turned into? Here is a World War II veteran. Can you imagine?? Glenn questioned.
?I mean, this guy made it,? he contined. ?This guy provided us with a country to live in, and he, at 89 years old, can you imagine what was going through his head? At 89 years old, some punks come up and they beat him to death in a parking lot. Now, who were these punks that did it? We don?t know, but the surveillance tapes now show that they were two African‑American males of average build, between 16 and 19, wearing black clothes. We have them on surveillance tape. Update: Since this story broke, Police have confirmed that one suspect has been arrested in savage beating and murder of the veteran.
