Why are people pounding Pittsburgh against St. John's in the garden?

Pitt smacked SJ around the 2nd half in their last game. StJ has no bench so they might give it their all with it being in the Gawden. GL

Every year I think that St. John's should do decently in the tourney since it's on their home floor but it never seems to happen. Might have something to do with the place being a third full since it's 2:00 on a Tuesday.

Nevertheless, I agree that Pitt just has no business laying 6 on a neutral floor to really anybody so I'll be backing the Johnnies again.

Guess some sharps knew what to expect. Pitt looked great and St. John's was freaking brutal! Disgusting performance by Red Storm plus the refs didn't help them much when I watched. Every blocking/charge call went against St. John's.
