The Stanley Cup Finals may be back to where they started, but the New Jersey Devils puckline train is careening forward at an out-of-control pace. Kind of like the Anaheim Mighty Ducks' Michael Eisner's mouth.
The Devils have piled up $600 in this series by cashing in on the puckline in all four games. However, they blew the last two games on the moneyline in Anaheim - along with a 2-0 series lead - prompting Disney big wig Eisner to talk some serious 'quack', as one New York Post headline put it.
"We're going to end it in six," he told reporters after Anaheim's 1-0 overtime win Monday night. "We're going to end it here on Saturday night."
You can bet that declaration will be scrawled on the chalk board in New Jersey's dressing room faster than you can say "shutout".
